Sudan will be closely associated with Ecosystm’s engagements with policy makers and government organisations across the world, providing advisory services around digital policy aimed at driving the greatest societal and economic impact of emerging technologies. He will be relocating to Southeast Asia.
Sudan brings expertise in engaging with governments at the highest leadership level to design, implement and review strategies to drive the digital agenda and promote emerging technologies. In his new role at Ecosystm, He will provide ongoing counsel to the board, in concurrence with his existing role as a board advisor for StaffonDemand, a company engaged in leveraging platform technologies and analytics for skills and talent acquisition.
In a career spanning more than 35 years, Sudan pioneered public-private initiatives focused on the digital economy and strategic futures across the globe. He has served as the Practice Manager for the Digital Development Unit of the World Bank, leading a global team of technology professionals and economists to support developing countries on policies and programmes relating to broadband infrastructure, mobile networks, digital services, and digital industry. He was also a senior member of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), and helped the state of Andhra Pradesh, India to become a key international destination for IT-based services.
