Singapore is well-represented at this year's Microsoft in Education Global Forum in Barcelona, Spain.
Flying the Singapore flag at the event are teachers Chen Siyun from Chestnut Drive Secondary School and Richard Koh from Crescent Girls’ School, both of whom are showcasing teaching projects at the event. The two are in the running for the Global Forum Educator Awards against close to 250 Expert Educators from all over the world.
Chen is representing Chestnut Drive Secondary School, a Microsoft Mentor School, with the project 'Towards an inclusive education with ICT'. The initiative aims to help students improve their English language skills.
Koh is representing Crescent Girls’ School, a Microsoft World Showcase School, with a project called 'Secondary One Communicative Arts: Poems about War'. The project aims to inspire students to learn more about poetry.
