SiS and Inflexionpoint form joint venture, SiS Inflexionpoint

SiS International Holdings, a technology products distribution and investment holding company in Asia, has partnered with Inflexionpoint, a supply chain firm co-founded by John Sculley, former CEO of Apple and Pepsi Cola Co, to form a joint venture company in Asia.

The joint venture, called SiS Inflexionpoint, will be based in Singapore, and aims to invest in promising businesses and technology companies in the Asia Pacific region. KH Lim, Chairman and CEO of SiS Group, will serve as Chairman of the new joint venture company while Neeraj Chauhan, a Co-founder of Inflexionpoint, assumes the role of CEO.

Inflexionpoint is immediately positioned to capitalise on the expansion in the converged IT and mobile distribution and IT supply chain. The company will also invest in IT/consumer electronics, distribution, value-added reseller, systems integrator, and supply chain companies. 

The joint venture also announced the acquisition of the broad line distribution business of Qool Labs Singapore, a subsidiary of SiS Group focusing on the distribution and marketing of mobility and mobile solutions products.

SiS brings a vast Asia network and 30 years of experience in channel marketing, distribution and investment in technology companies and businesses in Asia to the table, while Inflexionpoint offers private equity and growth working capital financial expertise and western marketing at its best.
