The 6th Annual China High-Performance Computing Workshop will be held on November 5th, 2014 at the Chime Long Hotel, in Guangzhou, China in conjunction with the HPC China 2014 Conference. The workshop will focus on HPC productivity and advanced HPC topics and futures. Speaker and sponsorship opportunities are available, the organisation said.
The workshop is free for HPC China attendees and to the HPC Advisory Council members. Registration is required and can be carried out at the HPC China Conference website.
The HPC Advisory Council is also holding the HPC Advisory Council Singapore High-Performance Computing Conference 2014 on October 7, 2014 in Singapore in association with A*STAR Computational Resource Centre. The conference is open to the public and will bring together system managers, researchers, developers, computational scientists and industry affiliates.
Gilad Shainer, Chairman of the HPC Advisory Council said, “The HPC Advisory Council’s worldwide workshops have become world renowned as an excellent educational opportunity for HPC and data centre IT professionals who are looking to deploy or provide additional enhancements and functionality to their advanced high-performance solutions."
"We, at A*CRC are happy and fortunate to join forces with the HPC Advisory Council to bring this regular event to Singapore,” said Dr Marek Michalewicz, Senior Director at A*STAR Computational Resource Centre.
“We have been particularly impressed with the HPC Advisory Council's leadership and engagement in organising Student Cluster Competitions worldwide. The NTU Student team, coached and prepared by A*CRC staff, has performed particularly well this year coming second among 82 Universities from around the world at this year’s Asia Student Supercomputer Challenge (ASC14) in China, and now the second team from the NUS, also coached by A*CRC staff, will compete at SC14 in New Orleans. The student team members will have opportunity to share their experiences with participants of this forthcoming event.”
Attendance to the conference is free. Registration for the conference is required and can be carried out here. Speaker and sponsorship opportunities are also available.
