Wipro, CA Technologies working together on DevOps

Wipro, an IT, consulting and business process services company, has expanded its strategic partnership with CA Technologies to jointly deliver next-generation DevOps solutions for testing. DevOps is a way of developing software that emphasises a win-win collaboration between software developers (the 'dev' part of DevOps) and IT operations staff (the 'ops' part of DevOps).

The partnership will enable Wipro to leverage the expanded portfolio of CA Technologies, including service virtualisation, release automation/continuous delivery, continuous validation and continuous monitoring solutions to help customers streamline their application development and delivery processes with a DevOps strategy.

Wipro's website states that it has over 55 dedicated Centers of Excellence for emerging technologies. In October 2013, the company launched the Wipro Mobility Center of Excellence with Kony in Hyderabad, India.
