The implementation was completed in October 2013 by AMR, the sole Citrix Platinum partner in Thailand, and leverages the Application Delivery Controller to achieve effective global load balancing, high application availability and high performance service levels.

Bangkok-based Sanook receives more than 3 million daily visitors through two data centres. As its international user base expanded, the resultant web traffic, combined with web-based content, were taxing its IT infrastructure.
As Sanook’s growth is highly dependent on the quality of user experience it delivers to its customers, the company needed to enhance and maintain its response time and performance for its large international user base. The company needed a solution that could consolidate networking services and collapse multiple network appliances into a single, scalable platform, supporting both data centres.

The ever-increasing exchange of applications and data over Sanook’s web portal also heightened the demand for application delivery security and data protection. The Citrix NetScaler SDX Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) feature enhances application delivery security and data protection even during large volumes of web traffic.
