Lim will continue to be based out of Singapore and will continue to report to Gene Hayden, VP and GM for sales and marketing, Emerson Network Power in Asia Pacific.
“With the emergence of cloud, big data, enterprise mobility and software defined network solutions, there is a lot of opportunity for potential customers to consider their DCIM strategies, be it starting from infrastructure access and control, data centre monitoring, or data centre optimisation with plans to automate process to gain maximum return of investment,” said Lim.
“Taking these things into consideration, Emerson’s DCIM business will be an integral part of our channel go-to-market strategies and we would continue to invest to enable our channel ecosystems partners to bring value and technologies to customers.”
Meanwhile, Kenny Khow has been Director of the newly-created DCIM professional services team in Asia since August 1. Khow is responsible for building the professional services organisation including process mapping and development, resource management as well as the development of tools to ensure the success of the DCIM professional services business. Specifically, he is responsible for business development, portfolio development, delivery and project escalation management to meet customer expectations. Khow reports directly to Lim.
Hayden remarked of these key appointments: “We have had successful implementations of key DCIM projects with several major client organisations while actively working on a number of promising deployment initiatives across Asia. With Wesley at the forefront of our DCIM business in Asia, I am confident that we will be able to further strengthen our position as an industry leader in infrastructure management solutions in the region.”
“Additionally, a recent survey by Emerson Network Power revealed that DCIM will play a prominent role in the industry by 2025. We see this as an opportune time to strengthen our DCIM team and deliver best-in-class solutions across all market verticals.”
