Based in Singapore for 15 years and operating across APAC, Australia and New Zealand for 22 years, he recently worked closely with various startups focused on public and hybrid cloud solutions.
Earlier in his career, Farndale set up the APAC‐Japan cloud services strategy for Cisco, prior to which he worked for StrataCom. He has also held engineering, pre-sales and management roles in Europe with Texas Instruments and Case Communications.
“According to leading analysts, the APAC region will experience the highest global growth in the WAN optimisation market over the next four years,” said Farndale. “Silver Peak is expanding its efforts to capitalise on this and the emerging SD-WAN opportunity in the region, where virtualisation and cloud have already seen growth and widespread adoption.
"We will aggressively recruit competent channel partners to address the SD-WAN growth opportunity. Silver Peak’s WAN and virtualisation pedigree are delivering cost-efficiencies and opening the door for new deployment models that will benefit enterprises, service providers and channel partners throughout APAC.”
