BenQ launches display innovations for Asia Pacific market in Singapore

BenQ, a world-leading human technology and solutions provider, has reinforced its commitment to the Asia Pacific region by unveiling its latest range of projectors, digital signage and interactive flat panels under the theme Brilliance in Quality and Design of Visual Innovation. The launch included the world's first 1080p ultra short throw projector, the MH856UST.

BenQ's new solutions span the education, enterprise, retail and home entertainment sectors:

Education

· The RP702 is a 70" Full HD 1080p interactive flat panel display that features BenQ’s TÜV-certified Flicker-Free technology, which prevents eye strain and fatigue. It also incorporates Low Blue Light technology to reduce harmful blue spectrum light emissions. The RP702 is plug-and-play, with a front input interface for ease of content sharing and a 10-point interactive on-screen touch menu display for convenience.

· The LW21 is a BlueCore Pure Laser projector that boasts up to 20,000 hour lamp life, is mercury-free and requires little to no maintenance.



Daren Low, Senior Product Manager, BenQ Singapore, demonstrates what an interactive whiteboard can do. The images are displayed through the new MH856UST ultra short throw projector, which is mounted just above the whiteboard.


· The MH856UST Full HD 1080p ultra-short-throw interactive projector maximises interactive learning in classrooms. Short throw projectors do not need much distance between the projector and the screen.

Business

The MX666+ projector.
· Embracing bring your own device (BYOD), BenQ has debuted the MX666+, the world’s first wireless business projector enabled by near field communication (NFC) technology and USB connectivity. For added ease of communications, a HDMI dongle allows users to present on-the-go.

· The MH740 Full HD projector can be paired with the new SV500 Full HD digital signage for enhanced video conferencing capabilities.

· The RP840G interactive flat panel with 4K resolution is designed for meeting rooms.

Retail and Food & Beverage


The ST550K has a 4K2K resolution and an Android interface.

· The new BenQ ST550K smart signage boasts an ultra-high definition resolution of 4K2K (3,840x2,160 pixels), the highest standard for visual displays today. The ST550K comes with a built-in Android OS and basic X-Sign signage software for content creation and design.



The PL460 has
a very narrow
bezel.
· The BH280, PL460 and DL550C are all built with industrial grade panels and support 24x7 operations. The BH280 bar signage has a unique 16:3 aspect ratio and is designed to fit into small spaces. 

· Designed for large video walls, the PL460 has a very narrow bezel for more seamless images spread across several screens. The full HD display has a screen diagonal of 46". It supports up to 10x10 displays via a digital daisy chain to deliver an immersive viewing experience.

· The DL550C, with a standalone dual sided panel that is just 25mm thick, is ideal for confined spaces. Each panel can display completely different images simultaneously. It is mounted onto a compact mobile base so that it can be easily transported. 

Home

· For home cinemas, BenQ introduced the W1070+ and the W1080ST+ home video projectors. These Full HD projectors feature cinema-grade image quality, exceptional audio performance and easy installation to deliver cinematic experiences for the family.



BenQ showed off the W1080ST+ projector (right) alongside an equivalent projector from major competitor Epson. According to the company, the W1080ST+, which supports Full HD and can display 1.07 billion colours, features better reproduction of colour and details.
