Epson provides first looks to ColorWorks C7510 commercial label printer at MTA 2015

Epson is providing a first-time view of the new ColorWorks C7510 commercial label printer at this year’s Manufacturing and Technology Asia 2015 (MTA2015) conference at its booth, which features industrial automation solutions as well as its colour labelling solutions for industrial use

The C7510 is Epson’s first on-demand colour label printer that features its latest PrecisionCore thin film piezo print head technology. The technology allows printing at a maximum of 300 mm/s, and resolutions of 600 dpi. The printer, which is only available in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, is designed for continuous printing. It works with 8" diameter roll paper and big volume pigment ink cartridges.

“In manufacturing, we are shaking things up by automating production operations with our robotics technology,” noted Ng Ngee Khiang, General Manager of Professional Printers and Robotics Division, Epson Southeast Asia.

“As the Selective Compliance Articulated Robotic Arms (SCARA) robot market share leader and a provider of high-performance six-axis robots, Epson has long helped companies in a wide range of industries to automate production, while at the same time, we have also made significant changes to the labelling market, such as providing on-demand colour labelling solutions that can significantly reduce inventory costs, and now we want to share all these innovations with the wider audience, starting here at MTA2015.”

Dedicated to serving Asia’s manufacturing industry and supporting its progression on the value chain, MTA2015 is the premier sourcing platform for regional manufacturing players to access the latest precision engineering and machine tool technologies available in the global market. Epson's focus at the event is to increase awareness of the benefits of various solutions to areas such as supply chain management, productivity, efficiency and overhead cost management for manufacturers around the region.

MTA2015 is a great place for us to showcase these solutions,” stated Ho Kok Koon, Regional Sales Manager for Epson Factory Automation Robots. “There is a lot of potential in our solutions with regard to optimising workflow, especially in the area of automation. While we are here, we want to show the visitors to MTA2015 how automation can benefit their business and increase their profit margins in tangible ways.”

MTA2015 will be running till 17 April 2015 and the Epson booth is at Hall 3, booth 3G1-01, Singapore Expo.
