Panasonic has officially opened showrooms in Indonesia and Myanmar in quick succession, with the showroom in Jakarta launched in early April and in Yangon in late March. Another showroom is expected in Mandalay.
The Panasonic Business Showroom in Jakarta is 230m2, located within the premises of Panasonic Gobel Indonesia. It has five experiential zones, for security, business, retail, energy and climate control. Panasonic said the facility is the first showcase of the company’s full suite of B2B solutions available in Indonesia.

Panasonic's first integrated showroom and service centre in Bahan Township, Yangon showcases the full lineup of B2C and B2B offerings available for Myanmar. The B2B solutions include retail, security, hotel, office, eco and solar technologies, while the B2C solutions include home and kitchen appliances, beauty products, TVs, audiovisual products and cameras. The showroom also incorporates after-sales support services.
Corporates can also gain a deeper understanding of Panasonic’s suite of technology and solutions developed to support business growth. With a strong network of local engineering channel partners, Panasonic is capable of tailoring solutions to meet requirements across different sectors.
“Through the opening of the new integrated showroom, we will be able to better demonstrate Panasonic technological capabilities and vigour in providing relevant and valuable solutions to local consumers and businesses. We hope that this will further help us capitalise Myanmar’s strong economic growth and contribute to Panasonic’s global sales target of 10 trillion yen by the end of fiscal year 2018, the company’s 100th year of founding,” said Hisakazu Maeda, Chief Representative, Panasonic Asia Pacific Myanmar Branch at the time.
The company said a second integrated showroom will open in Mandalay in April 2015, in Mahar Aung Myae Township, Haymamarlar North Quarter, Mandalay.
