Middle East cloud infrastructure services to see high CAGRs

The Middle East Cloud Infrastructure Services Market by Services (PAAS, IAAS, CDN/ADN, Managed Hosting, and Colocation), by Deployment (Public, Private, and Hybrid), by Countries (KSA, UAE, Qatar, and Others) - Forecasts and Analysis (2015 - 2020) MarketsandMarkets report forecasts that the market for cloud infrastructure services in the Middle East will grow from US$1.84 billion in 2015 to US$5.44 billion in 2020, at a CAGR of 24.2% from 2015 to 2020.

Cloud infrastructure services include colocation services to offer more space, power and cooling, as well as physical security for the servers. The acceptance of cloud is expected to accelerate as enterprises adopt private cloud and software as-a-service (SaaS), said the consultancy.

Data security concerns and high cost of initial investments are the inhibitors however,
MarketsandMarkets said.

Despite the concerns, KSA is expected to be the biggest market in terms of revenue contribution while the country markets in UAE and Qatar are expected to emerge rapidly, with high CAGRs.
