Anaplan announces platform release

Anaplan, the planning cloud for finance, sales, operations and HR, today announced its third platform release of 2015. The new release is designed to be easy to adopt by both end-users and app model builders.

Anaplan's Chief Product Officer Simon Tucker, said the new release features an updated colour scheme for data visualisation, usability and functionality enhancements, and performance improvements. Anaplan made the updates following extensive usability studies and research with the help of its customers.

“Customers will also notice that Anaplan’s dashboards are not only more intuitive but deliver increased performance for large scale planning activities. We have customers now planning with tens of billions of cells and with thousands of users,” Tucker said.

The new user interface delivers new colours for charts, optimised for easier comparison, and redesigned buttons and controls. Other features include a single sign-on for Anaplan Excel reporting to simplify user experience and for added security.
