The new Epson L655. |
Said Tan May Lin, Epson Singapore’s General Manager (Sales Division), “With the bulk of companies in Singapore being SOHOs and small to medium enterprises (SMEs), we recognise the need to cater to this group that is particularly sensitive to market conditions. The L655 represents a leap in performance and functionality. Our efforts in developing our ink tank system technology have paid off for a product that is feature-packed and offers low monthly printing costs that are an absolute delight to the users and the company’s bottom line.”
The L-series has been particularly successful for Epson in Singapore, comprising 46% of the overall sales in FY14. All 13 printers in the L-series family were showcased as part of the event. The printers offer a spectrum of features, from dedicated colour to color multi-function and photo printers for both A4 and A3 printing, and are designed for SOHOs and SMEs which value high productivity and cost savings.
Tan noted that the L series had been conceptualised in 2010 to address concerns on high ink costs, with the ink tank system introduced in 2013. Listening to customer feedback resulted in the new L655 as users emphasised the importance of automated duplex printing.
