Commented Doron Kempel, CEO, SimpliVity: “In just two years of shipping product, the market has been overwhelmingly receptive to (our) groundbreaking concept. We are at the beginning of a paradigm shift in IT infrastructure as progressive IT leaders see the opportunity to dramatically simplify their environments and focus on driving business performance.”
Recently-signed global SimpliVity customers include the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, which has nine reservation numbers for Asia Pacific countries and territories, and a further three in the Middle East; Monde Nissin in Singapore, the St Andrews Anglican College in Australia, and Bukaka Teknik Utama in Indonesia.
Amith Ganesan, Architect, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group said: “SimpliVity is challenging the data centre status quo with its operationally-efficient and cost-efficient hyperconverged infrastructure. As a premier hotel chain, our data centres serve as the backbone of the business. We selected SimpliVity because it combined enterprise-grade functionalities with the economics, ease of management and scalability of cloud computing to better serve our end users and deliver the world-class customer experience Mandarin clients expect.”
Rory Chapman, Director of ICT at St Andrews Anglican College in Brisbane, Australia added: “The decision to deploy SimpliVity came down to the excellent support provided by their partners, Serenity IT, and the ability for our school to be able to move into a cost-effective, high performance, hyperconverged solution, giving us a much better disaster recovery solution – whilst all being managed though the familiar VMware vCenter console.”
