Excelfore launches connected car services framework

Excelfore has launched an intelligent transportation framework for the automotive industry ahead of CES 2016.

Cloud-based ESync enables full vehicle over-the-air updates of all vehicle components for the head unit, multiple electronic control units (ECU) and telematics units. ESync updates the firmware and software components, including operating system, kernel, drivers, human-machine interface and applications. 

Also new is cloud-based EMatics, which offers business capabilities such as fleet monitoring, automated service scheduling, and fuel management.
