Budget brand Hop Inn Thailand is using FASTBOOKING’s technology to develop a robust website with an integrated booking engine that can help increase its online bookings.
The hotel group, owned by The Erawan Group, plans to almost double its portfolio from its current 17 to 30 hotels in and out of Thailand. “Hop Inn is a new brand that needed to increase its brand awareness in the market. It was looking for an e-commerce website that could help it attract new prospects and quickly turn them into active booking customers. Given our track record with similar hotel groups, they immediately turned to us to help them achieve its goals,” said Pierre-Charles Grob, Managing Director of FASTBOOKING in Asia.
Hop Inn will also benefit from FASTBOOKING’s strategic account management team who will follow up on online sales and advise them on distribution strategies. It will also have local technical support from FASTBOOKING’s team based in Bangkok.
“We were particularly interested in FASTBOOKING’s responsive booking engine that had capabilities for 37 languages and worldwide currencies, and also location maps for each hotel. These are features we feel will help develop our direct online sales,” said Youssef El Khomri, Executive General Manager of Hop Inn.
Thailand is a key market for FASTBOOKING, and it has a strong expansion plan in place in the country. It will continue to build technology partnerships with independent hoteliers and chains that need help to develop direct bookings. In tandem with building new business, FASTBOOKING will be growing its local support teams and account managers to ensure good after-sales service and support.
