HPE launches wave of integrated mobility solutions with Aruba as the star

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) today announced new service offerings for customers to accelerate the benefits of mobile-optimised digital workplace initiatives. The services focus on supporting and extending new integrated mobility solutions from Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, to help customers achieve seamless communication and secure collaboration, and include:
  • Aruba Infrastructure Services
  • Aruba ClearPass Services
  • Aruba AirWave Services
  • HPE Digital Collaboration Services
  • Support services
  • HPE Intelligent Spaces for Meetings

“In an age of digital disruption in the workplace, our customers are looking to us to help them solve rapidly evolving business challenges,” said Hazel Chin, Consulting Sales Director, Singapore, Technology Services, HPE. “Our comprehensive portfolio of networking and mobility services are anchored by unparallelled expertise and global reach, so customers can trust HPE to provide them with the innovation needed to accelerate their digital workplace initiatives.”

HPE services reduce risk and implementation time while rapidly enabling user experience and drive productivity and effectiveness. With these services customers can accelerate time to value with Aruba networking, Microsoft Cloud Productivity and Citrix mobility solutions. They bring together key elements critical to the digital workplace, including strategy, assessment, design, deployment, integration, management, and optimisation as well as on-going support of Aruba networking solutions.

Aruba Infrastructure Services provides customers with network expertise from assessments to validated design and global deployment. These services are optimised for business-critical applications such as Microsoft Office 365 (including Skype for Business).

Aruba ClearPass Services tailors ClearPass, a robust policy management platform, to the access and security needs for a customer’s digital workplace initiatives, including bring your own device (BYOD).

Aruba AirWave Services delivers centralised multivendor wired and wireless network visibility, management and performance monitoring across multiple customer locations.

HPE Digital Collaboration Services is focused on Microsoft Office 365 (including Skype for Business), assisting customers with preparation and migration plans to enterprise-wide digital collaboration. This enables them to embrace the right cloud, on premise and hybrid delivery models.

Support services provide customers with personalised proactive support and deployment services that are designed to improve performance, simplify operations, and maximise infrastructure availability.

With the exception of HPE managed services, all other services are available for sale through channel partners, as either fully customised or as predefined packaged consulting services such as Aruba ClearPass Deployment and Integration Service.

Bridge the physical and digital

HPE is also announcing the Intelligent Spaces for Meetings early access programme, giving selected customers an effective intersection of physical meeting spaces with digital collaboration. This solution takes the frustration out of finding spaces and provides the ability to collaborate quickly and seamlessly by automatically configuring room technology so team productivity becomes the focus.

Creating a dynamic view of meeting room status and scheduling, integrating indoor location services with digital collaboration technologies and intelligent workflow makes collaboration easy and simple for employees. This improves user experience, engagement and effectiveness and provides insights for better meeting room usage. Powered by Aruba solutions and partner technologies from Citrix and Microsoft, HPE consultants will deploy and configure an Intelligent Spaces for Meetings prototype to help make the future of the smart, mobile-optimised digital workplace a reality.

Said Giovanni Mezgec, General Manager of Office Partner Marketing, Microsoft, “The solutions and services HPE have developed on the Microsoft platform will help our joint customers modernise their workplaces, enhance collaboration across teams and networks and take full advantage of the unique and innovative features of the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Suite including Office 365, Skype for Business and Windows 10.”

“Citrix and HPE have a shared vision to provide people with instant, secure access to the apps, data and resources they need to work effectively, anywhere, at any time,” said Steve Blacklock, VP, Global Strategic Alliances, Citrix. “HPE Intelligent Spaces harnesses our joint innovation to bring these elements seamlessly together in a way that promises to transform workplace productivity.”
