OutSystems hosts digital transformation webinars this September

OutSystems, which has an enterprise rapid application development (RAD) platform to accelerate digital transformation, will be hosting a virtual digital transformation event this September. The online event demonstrates OutSystems' commitment to sharing best practices around digital transformation.

Over three weeks, leaders in digital transformation will guide participants through some of the most controversial and challenging topics facing the industry today in a three-part webinar series. Said Steve Rotter, OutSystems CMO: “There is so much talk around digital transformation today, and the jargon surrounding it can be confusing. With this lineup, participants can expect these presentations to go deep and offer the practical, actionable advice that they are looking for.”

The sessions are:

· Go Fast or Go Home (September 16, 11am Singapore time)

Speed is critical for any successful digital transformation strategy. In the first webinar, Forrester Analyst John Rymer and Rotter will outline how companies can ensure that they have the right technology stack* to accelerate their digital transformation journey.

· The Bimodal Bake Off (September 23, 11am Singapore time)

Bimodal IT - the concept that there should be separate focuses on IT facilitating agility and stability - is putting even the most talented development teams to the test. Deloitte Partner Rui Vaz and Intellyx’s Jason Bloomberg, an industry analyst and expert on agile digital transformation, will debate and discuss the realities of a bimodal approach.

· Digital Roadmap Realities (September 30, 11am Singapore time)

OutSystems CEO Paulo Rosado moderates a panel of battle-proven experts from PWC, HaelthTech, and Thrivent Financial who will exchange best practices for planning, launching and expanding a successful digital transformation journey.

Scott Darrow, CEO at HaelthTech, which builds Web and mobile-based health insurance and risk management systems out of the Philippines, will helm a session covering:

· Picking the right projects and setting teams up for success
· Breaking the backlog by increasing speed of delivery to get ahead of the demand curve
· Using new models to change the way projects are scoped and defined for faster development
