Dropsuite, a global, cloud-based software platform enabling small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to back up, recover and protect their digital assets, has partnered with Singapore-based ICONZ-Webvisions (iWV), a cloud and managed services provider.
Dropsuite now provides affordable and reliable one-click data backup to iWV’s network of 40,000 customers in Asia. iWV’s customers include SMEs as well as larger businesses such as 3M, Cycle & Carriage, Drew & Napier, OSIM, Hong Leong Finance, and MCL Land.
Under the agreement, Dropsuite recognises iWV as a gold partner and official reseller of Dropmysite’s Website Backup, Dropmyemail’s Office 365 Email Backup & Archiving and DSE Server Backup, each a simple one-click solution for website, email and server cloud backup. Dropmysite is also the cloud-backup service of choice for businesses purchasing bundled professional services from iWV.
Charif Elansari, CEO of Dropsuite, said: “It is incredibly important for businesses everywhere to safely and securely backup and protect their data. As online channels drive more of the top and bottom line, a reliable and effective backup solution keeps the business running. It also gives peace of mind so that managers can focus on what’s most important: serving the customer.”
Albert Wong, Group CEO of iWV, said: “As an established managed services provider, iWV is always on the lookout for solutions to help our clients. Dropsuite’s leading cloud backup platform will offer great benefits to our client SMEs, helping them easily backup, recover, and protect their digital assets. “
The global disaster recovery market for SMEs is expected to be worth US$6 billion by 2019, according to SME Cloud Insights (Parallels Research 2014); meanwhile, according to ODIN, 41% of SMEs want online storage and backup as part of a US$98 billion global SME IT cloud market.
The iWV partnership comes weeks after Dropsuite partnered with LeaderTelecom, a Netherlands-based premium telecom service provider. In April 2016 Dropsuite partnered with US-based Ingram Micro, the world’s largest technology distributor.
