Sixteen early stage startup businesses focused on changing and improving the way people shop and engage with consumer goods brands, travel and retail companies, have been chosen in the next stage of the Accenture Consumer Innovation Awards.
The selected finalists will present to a panel of judges comprised of senior executives from financial investors and globally-recognised brands, including Kimberly Clarke, Nespresso, Subway, Johnson & Johnson and SATS, on September 6 in Singapore.
The winners of the four categories will be announced at the closing ceremony of the Millennial 20/20 APAC summit in Singapore on September 8. In addition to receiving their award, the winners will be given access to a team of industry experts at Accenture who will support their focus on their target customer sector, while the sectors gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies as they evolve. Winners will also receive a three-month free membership from The Great Room Offices.
“We have been overwhelmed by the interest in the Accenture Consumer Innovation Awards, which attracted over 230 entries from across the globe,” said Teo Correia, Senior MD of Accenture’s Consumer Goods and Services practice. “As part of Accenture’s commitment to consumer tech we constantly seek to foster growth and innovation in the consumer goods, retail and travel industries and these awards offer entrepreneurs direct access to key players in their target customer sector while exposing big brands to cutting-edge technologies as they evolve. We look forward to meeting the 16vfinalists at the judging day.”
