Nominations are open for the 2016 Asia/Pacific Telecom Summit Awards

IDC Asia/Pacific has launched a call for nominations for the 2016 Asia/Pacific Telecom Summit Awards (ATSA). This year’s winners will be recognised on stage at the Asia Pacific Telecom Summit to be held on November 11, 2016 at the Sofitel, Sentosa, Singapore.

ATSA recognises the region’s most innovative telecom service providers in terms of achieving business objectives, driving competitive differentiation, launching new products and services, and gaining access to new markets and segments,” says Shiv Putcha, Associate Director, Consumer Mobility and A/P Telco Strategy teams, IDC Asia/Pacific.

IDC Asia/Pacific will give out five awards at this year’s Asia Pacific Telecom Summit. These are: Digital Service Provider of the Year, Digital Transformer of the Year, Excellence in Customer Service, Best Telco-OTT Partnership of the Year and Most Disruptive Business Model.
“Asia’s telecom service providers operate in unique and challenging competitive environments; they are constantly looking to innovate, form new partnerships, launch new products and services to keep their business models relevant. This is particularly important as telecom service providers focus on digital transformation (DX) of their organiaations to prepare and enable them to stay competitive and drive service revenues. This year’s ATSA seeks to highlight telecom service providers that have made significant progress in 'digital', transformation in the customer experience, new partnerships and new business models," said Putcha.

The winners last year include Tata Sky (Best Video Offering), Bharti Airtel (Country Innovation Award), Telstra (Most Innovative Consumer Offering), NTT (Most Innovative Enterprise Offering) and Singtel (Service Provider of the Future).
