“At Dell, we’re constantly striving to provide the best viewing experience and performance for all of our customers - no matter which line of products they choose,” says Raymond Wah, Senior VP, Consumer Product Marketing, Dell. “The XPS 13 with industry leading InfinityEdge display, and Inspiron Gaming series with 4K display blend performance and portability in delivering the viewing experience that Dell is renowned for."
The new lineup includes models powered by the latest 7th Gen Intel Core processors for cutting-edge performance, responsiveness and improved battery life. Seventh Gen Intel Core introduces a new media engine that opens up a new world of premium 4K UHD content – for viewing, streaming, creating and sharing.
Milet Bolanos, Regional Account Manager for Client and IoT for Dell Technologies, Asia Pacific and Japan at Intel, observed that consumers are demanding more performance from their PCs and laptops today. Virtual reality and the popularity of e-sports are some of the reasons why, she explained.
"Intel is making these experiences possible with the seventh Gen Intel processors - faster, better, and more powerful," she said.
Behzaad Habibi, Dell Field Marketing Segment Leader - South Asia & Korea, said the new products were designed with what customers want out of the technology. The new lineup includes:
The world’s smallest 13" laptop with an ultimate viewing experience
Designed and built for premium performance, mobility and visual fidelity, the new XPS 13 is still the smallest 13" laptop on the planet with a virtually borderless InfinityEdge display, and now offers even more power, and better battery life. The next-generation Inspiron 15 Gaming Laptop has dedicated forward and rearward thermal outlets for extra-capacity heat exchangers connected by oversized piping to dual cooling fans with high-efficiency blade pitch. These are engineered specifically to handle Intel’s 6th Gen H-series quad core mobile CPUs and NVIDIA’s latest GeForce GTX 960M discrete graphics with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory.
Powering its performance is a deep-reserve 74 watt-hour battery that allows gamers to keep the game going longer. The gaming laptop can be customised with non-touch anti-glare options in FHD, 4K UHD or IPS FHD with Truelife.
Habibi shared that upgrades are made easy for the Inspiron 15. The service bay door is held closed with only one fastener.
