Lazada's Online Revolution ecosystem involves over 5,000 enterprises

Online shopping and selling destination Lazada Singapore has shared that more than 5,000 enterprises are collaborating with it to deliver the best experience for shoppers during Online Revolution, its busiest shopping event of the year. According to Lazada, the Lazada Online Revolution is the biggest online shopping and selling event in Southeast Asia, bringing brands and retailers, and consumers together in six countries. 

The enterprises include brands, retailers and sellers as well as an ecosystem of supporting businesses catering to e-commerce, from end-to-end fulfillment and logistics to marketing and tech solutions.  Alexis Lanternier, CEO, Lazada Singapore, said the Online Revolution is the perfect platform to showcase for seamless way Lazada Singapore marketplace ecosystem partners come together to deliver the online shopping experience for consumers.

“On 11.11, the first day of Online Revolution, we delivered 3x more parcels than last year, thanks to the support from our shoppers and to the relationship we’ve built with our ecosystem partners. Now, the Lazada team and our partners are excited about 12.12, the climax of the Online Revolution, which is expected to spur more purchases as shoppers cash in on the amazing 500,000 deals at up to 90% off amid the year-end festive season,” said Lanternier. 11.11 refers to November 11, and 12.12 to December 12.

Online Revolution 2016 has seen a 30-fold increase in GMV in the first hour of sales on the day for Lazada Singapore in comparison with the same time the previous day. Themed Brands for All, the Online Revolution brings significant offers from international and local brands. The finale of the month-long event will take place on 12.12, when Lazada Singapore expects to set new records as shoppers and bargain-hunters get into the excitement of Christmas gift-giving and year-end bonus treats.

Brands participating in Online Revolution include Xiaomi, Laneige, NestlĂ©, OPPO, and Samsung. Online Revolution is also supported by ec-cmmerce service providers such as fulfilment and logistics partner SingPost; service and tech solutions providers Crescodata and Commgate; and e-fulfillment partner Beautiful.Me, amongst others.
