MakerBot appoints authorised distributor in India

MakerBot Asia Pacific & Japan (MakerBot APJ), a division of desktop 3D printing provider MakerBot, has appointed technology solutions provider ARK Infosolutions (Arkinfo) as an authorised distributor in India. Arkinfo joins MakerBot's well-established channel network to offer accessible desktop 3D printing solutions for professionals and educators.

The new MakerBot products that Arkinfo will be offering include the new MakerBot Replicator+, MakerBot Replicator Mini+, MakerBot Slate Gray Tough PLA Filament Bundle, among others. 

Headquartered in New Delhi and with offices across nine locations in India, Arkinfo brings a strong team of sales, marketing and technical experts to market MakerBot's 3D printing solutions, including a network of over 2,000 experienced technology resellers. Additionally, the company offers consultation and customer services to support local organisations and educational institutions in their 3D design, prototyping, and manufacturing workflows. 

In addition to working closely with leading resellers, Arkinfo has a strong focus on supporting schools in India. MakerBot's solutions for educators will help support the company's creative education programme MindBox, geared towards further empowering teaching and learning through a hands-on and interactive approach.
