As of December 7 the Pokémon GO community has collectively walked more than 8.7 billion km, Niantic has announced.
A commercial jetliner would take more than 1,000 years to cover the same distance, Niantic notes, also sharing that players have caught more than 88 billion Pokémon along the way, or roughly 533 million Pokémon a day!
