With the new GTX 1050 and 1050 laptops, NVIDIA promises fast, smooth gaming experiences that:
· Achieve up to 3X the performance and power efficiency of previous-generation GPUs
· Support both classic and modern games with 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second (FPS), including additional support for the latest DirectX 12 features
· Draw on advanced graphics technologies like NVIDIA GameWorks that provide a more interactive, cinematic experience.
· Allow overclocking, just like on the desktop

NVIDIA solutions such as GeForce Experience, a portal to PC gaming that helps to optimise game environments, NVIDIA Ansel, an in-game camera, and NVIDIA G-SYNC for buttery-smooth gameplay* will also be available to owners of laptops featuring the new GPUs. G-SYNC synchronises the display refresh rates to the GPU in a GeForce GTX-powered laptop, eliminating screen tearing as well as minimising display stutter and input lag.
More than 30 laptop designs that include the GPUs will be shipping in Q1 from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). On show at CES in the US this week will be models from Acer, Alienware, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI, and others, many of which will also be available for sale. All of the laptops will feature Intel’s newest Kaby Lake platform. While pricing will vary, NVIDIA says retail pricing is expected to start at around US$699.
