Agoda Outside, a new undertaking from Agoda that focuses on ideas, research, exchanging information, philanthropy, and outreach, held its first-ever big data conference in Singapore.

“We understand the essence and importance of big data, and saw that there is a disparity in knowing and understanding it,” said Yaron Zeidman, CTO, Agoda. “In order to better make sense of the power of the information we have on hand, we first need to understand the impact it has on various industries.”

Agoda Outside is supporting its parent company by conducting outreach to help advance the understanding of important issues and promoting cooperation – especially in a digital-forward nation like Singapore. With the objective of bringing together companies across industries that are leading the big data revolution, Agoda Outside recognizes this as a growing industry that opens up opportunities for both startups and established companies.
