ConnecTechAsia to comprise CommunicAsia, EnterpriseIT and BroadcastAsia

UBM SES, the organisers of CommunicAsia, BroadcastAsia and EnterpriseIT, have unveiled new branding for the colocated events. UBM-SES CEO Lindy Wee disclosed during the opening ceremony that the new parent brand ConnecTechAsia will comprise CommunicAsia, BroadcastAsia and the new NXTAsia, spotlighting emerging technologies and enterprise solutions going forward. NXT is currently part of CommunicAsia, and is conceptualised as a showcase for the digital future and a platform for startups.

"We have spoken to our exhibitors, our customers and engaged with industry professionals on what helps them reach their business objectives. As this industry evolves rapidly, we see the need for us to keep pace and we feel the time is right for change," Wee said. "We have reviewed and refined our proposition to bring to you three highly focused industry sectors: CommunicAsia, BrocastAsia and NXT Asia under one voice, one brand of ConnecTechAsia, to create a more enriching experience for all our delegates."

2017 marks a split venue for the shows, with BroadcastAsia in Suntec Singapore while CommunicAsia and EnterpriseIT are at Marina Bay Sands. There are 36 pavilions across the three exhibitions. Seven of these are new, including pavilions from mainland China, Korea, and Taiwan.
