HPE is expanding a decades-long relationship with Citrix with a new three-year strategic alliance to carry joint customers further, faster with market-leading innovation from the edge to the core.
This new initiative takes the best of the two companies’ history of engineering excellence and technology to drive co-innovation in areas such as the intelligent edge and hybrid IT, coupled with an expansion of HPE’s global Citrix services expertise through the Pointnext organisation. The two companies will also collaborate more closely between field and sales organisations.
The two companies have a closely aligned strategy for helping enterprises build hybrid IT environments. Citrix is redefining the future of work by evolving the secure delivery of data to keep people, organizations and ideas connected anywhere, any time, and on any device. HPE believes in a world where everything computes – where everyone and everything will be connected. Both believe the secure delivery of applications and data everywhere is at the heart of digital transformation.
The HPE and Citrix collaboration is already bringing innovation to market at the intelligent edge. When Citrix announced their Citrix Ready HCI Workspace Appliance Program, HPE was the first partner to join. A joint solution was unveiled, based on the HPE Edgeline Intelligent Edge Workspace Appliance with Atlantis USX software-defined storage, and Citrix Cloud and XenApp and XenDesktop Service to provide a high performance, low cost HCI appliance to mid-market customers and partners. The companies will bring an expanded portfolio of offerings built on Citrix and HPE Edgeline in the next year.
HPE and Citrix are committed to a long term strategic roadmap to optimise Citrix workloads for any use case, including HPE's Edgeline, as well as HPE SimpliVity 380 with OmniStack.
As two of the world’s top Microsoft partners, HPE and Citrix are uniquely positioned to deliver joint solutions for customers investing in Microsoft infrastructures. Not only will HPE and Citrix work together to optimize HPE’s Azure Stack offerings for Citrix workloads, but also work to ensure mutual investments across all offerings with Microsoft are aligned.
HPE and Citrix together bring a deep knowledge and expertise of vertical industries, including financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and government to the market – and will partner together to drive a portfolio of Secure Virtual Workspace solutions to these target industries over the next three years.
The two companies are working with leading financial services companies and healthcare institutions to manage applications more flexibly across multiple environments through HPE and Citrix solutions such as Trader Workstation Solution built on HPE Moonshot and HPE Edgeline, as well as HPE Hyper Converged 380.
Together, HPE and Citrix already have a lot of synergy together:
