Lenovo, the global technology brand, has launched a regionwide campaign that will preview how we will work, play, learn and create in the future.
The #CitizensOfTMRW initiative kicks off in Singapore through a microsite which allows visitors to become a citizen of tomorrow by imagining and assembling their dream device of the future through a simple seven-step process.
When designing their device, users can choose from a variety of form factors, materials, input and output options, enabling them to customise every major detail.
Once they build their dream device, they are invited to explain – in 30 words or less – how it would enhance and add value to their life as a worker, creator, student or gamer. They will then be invited to share their unique creation with their friends, family and colleagues on social media. Submitted designs will vie to garner the highest number of votes to stand a chance to win a Lenovo Miix 320.
Those who successfully upload and share their creations will receive a digital passport to join Lenovo at an interactive #CitizensOfTMRW roadshow at Marina Square in Singapore, where they can redeem gifts and get the chance to win a special prize.
The roadshow, from 30 August to 3 September, promises to take the user experience to the next level.
“The greatest thing about the Citizens of TMRW is that you don’t need to be an engineer, designer, or IT expert to tell us what the future holds for technology,” said Khoo Hung Chuan, GM for Lenovo Malaysia and Singapore. “At Lenovo, our view is that the best technology is inclusive, not exclusive, and that inspiration can come from anyone, anywhere, and at any time.”
Through the campaign, Lenovo looks forward to seeing which of these ideas have the power to shape the future of workplaces, homes and classrooms around the world. The campaign is also a reflection of the company’s customer centric approach, which has yielded some of the most popular products and solutions to date.
