The third video is a 60-second film that features Shanti Pereira, who made history in the 2015 SEA Games when she won the country’s first 200m track gold in 42 years. “I want to prove this is not a one-time thing,’’ says Pereira.
The fourth of Singtel's Power On video series is a 60-second feature of Team Singapore water skier Mark Leong, who is facing a great deal of pressure to establish a new record.
“In water skiing, there are no second chances because when you fall you don’t get to restart,” Leong says.
The fifth Power On video features Olympic champion Joseph Schooling. “That was an extremely proud moment,” Schooling says in the 60-second film as he relishes his victory at the 2015 SEA Games where he won nine gold medals. The achievement propelled him to win Singapore’s first-ever Olympic gold in 2016 when he set a new world record in the 100m butterfly event.
