Alienware doubles down on high-performance PC gaming with powerful new peripherals

PC gaming brand Alienware today announced at the revamped Dell Exclusive Store in Singapore a new range of performance gaming monitors and accessories with the signature Alienware design.

Alienware continues to make solid investments in PC gaming, virtual reality and e-sports through new offerings and partnership innovation. Delivering on fans’ requests, Alienware is debuting a full range of performance-oriented gaming monitors and peripherals with the premium design and performance it is known for. The launch features Alienware’s AlienFX lighting, which works with more than 150 titles, including Sid Meier’s Civilisation VI, Shadow Warrior 2 and Agents of Mayhem for in-game lighting effects.

John Gillooly, Technical Product Marketing Manager, Asia Pacific South at NVIDIA (left), said that NVIDIA G-SYNC, found in Alienware's new premium displays, is ideal for e-sports. G-SYNC is adaptive refresh rate technology that delivers smoother, tear-free gameplay at refresh rates up to 240 Hz. To prevent blurring and deliver crisper moving images, G-SYNC pulses the backlight at 144 times a second, he said. G-SYNC also prevents tearing, which displays information from different frames at the same time because of synchronisation issues between the display and the video feed, by changing the monitor resolution constantly.

Alienware 25” Gaming Monitor
With either NVIDIA G-SYNC (AW2518H) or AMD FreeSync (AW2518HF), this monitor offers fast, responsive gameplay with virtually no input lag, at an extremely rapid 1 ms panel response time, and a native 240Hz refresh rate. With three preset display modes, full adjustability, single-diecast stand legs, and a seamless panoramic multi-monitor view with ultra-thin bezel in 1,920x1,080 resolution, the Alienware 25” gaming monitor is designed to let gamers play better, as they want.

Alienware 34” Gaming Monitor
With either WQHD (3,440 x 1,440) resolution (AW3418HW) or WFHD (2,560 x 1,080) resolution, this monitor features the iconic Alienware design with custom AlienFX lighting and ultrathin bezels that elevate gameplay. The curved monitor allows for greater game immersion. It is also integrated with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology for smooth, tear-free gameplay.

Alienware Advanced Gaming Keyboard
Blending gamer-friendly design features and intuitive software, the Alienware Advanced Gaming Keyboard (AW568) with optional palm rest delivers a premium gaming experience affordably. Featuring mechanical keys with brown switches, keystrokes are more precise, responsive and consistent. Five keys are dedicated for macro commands that give gamers a competitive edge. The Alienware Control Center software personalises the gaming experience, giving gamers the ability to configure all keys as desired.

Alienware Pro Gaming Keyboard
Amplifying the gaming experience, the Alienware Pro Gaming Keyboard (AW768) with optional palm rest exemplifies all the essential design components of the Advanced Gaming Keyboard, and elevates the engineering innovation with a dedicated volume roller and 13 zone-based RGB AlienFX backlit lighting options. Onboard memory adds a new level of intelligent options for assigning keystroke combinations.

Alienware Advanced Gaming Mouse
Fusing ergonomic design for increased comfort and intelligent software with gaming-grade performance, the Alienware Advanced Gaming Mouse (AW558) offers multiple configurations with on-the-fly dots per linear inch (DPI) sensitivity to switch between precision and speed style gameplay. The device has nine unique buttons for in-game customisation.

Alienware Elite Gaming Mouse
Further enhancing the premium gaming experience, the Alienware Elite Gaming Mouse (AW958) incorporates all the game-ready innovation of its sibling, and leverages advanced custom ability innovation with swappable grips, up to 13 programmable buttons, perfect for masively multiplayer online games (MMOs) like World of Warcraft. Four variable levels of weight adjustment control cursor precision and movement speed.
