NVIDIA AI Conference speaker lineup to feature industry and research luminaries

AI luminaries and experts from the US, Asia and Australia are set to speak at the upcoming NVIDIA AI Conference in Singapore on October 24.

With a strong focus on the transformation that artificial intelligence (AI) has brought about globally, the speakers will cover smart cities, industry and research and development in three tracks.

Kicking off the conference will be Dr David B Kirk, NVIDIA Fellow and inventor, who holds more than 60 patents and patent applications relating to graphics design; and Dr Wanli Min, AI scientist, Alibaba Cloud, who will speak on A Revolutionary Road to Data Intelligence.

Other prominent speakers include:

- Garry Swan, Executive Manager of Scientific Computing Platforms, Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Australia, on Enabling Science Impact

- Jane Shen Shengmei, Assistant Director, Panasonic R&D Center Singapore, on AI Advancement with Deep Learning and its Applications in Autonomous Vehicles

- Li GuangDa, CTO and Co-Founder, ViSenze, Singapore, on Visual Search and Recognition at ViSenze

- Albert Alexander, Co-Founder and CEO, Glueck Technologies, Malaysia, on Machine Learning in Intelligent Visual Analytics

- Steve Lee Hee Kwang, CIO and Group SVP (Technology), Changi Airport Group, Singapore, on AI is a SMART AIrport, and

- Marcelo H Ang Jr, Associate Professor and Director, Advanced Robotics Centre, National University of Singapore, on AI-Driven Robotics.
