Gundam Wars now in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia

LINE: GUNDAM WARS, a smartphone game developed by BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc. and LINE Corporation, has been released in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore via the LINE games platform.

LINE: GUNDAM WARS revolves around assembling mobile suits, a type of humanoid-style weapon, to fight in battles. An in-game currency called blueprints can be accumulated through mobilisations and missions to upgrade mobile suits, or acquire more suits. 

The new version includes English-language support and a new mobile armour feature. Mobile armours are larger, non-human counterparts to suits with a wide range of designs. Players can now get the Adzam and Apsalus II mobile armour as rewards for completing missions and use them for battle*. The armour is associated with levels and grades, just like mobile suits. In the past, only the enemy had mobile armour.

LINE has also organised some limited-time events to commemorate the game's release in Southeast Asia and the launch of mobile armour.

The LINE messaging app from Japan-based LINE Corporation was launched in June 2011 and has since grown into a diversified global platform.

Mobilisation to celebrate the Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore release

To celebrate the English version release, all players will be able to purchase one limited-time 11-mobilisation chance for 200 diamonds. Anyone who uses this mobilisation will get a mobilisation ticket for one of selected four-star units.

*Mobile armour does not work in the Battle Tower scenario.
