Porsche Design, Huawei launch PORSCHE DESIGN HUAWEI Mate RS

Porsche Design and Huawei Consumer Business Group have announced the PORSCHE DESIGN HUAWEI Mate RS in Singapore. “RS” stands for "Race Sport"– a designation reserved for cars that embody the very best of performance and design in the world of motorsport.

Porsche Design and Huawei have worked in tandem to develop a smartphone that fuses the two brands’ DNA, wealth of experience in design and technology, expertise and exceptional performance.

Through the use of colour in the device’s body, software themes and accessories, the new handset is accentuated with Porsche Design’s aesthetic.

The phone has a 6” 2K curved OLED screen and clean lines, with a stylish eight-edged 3D curved glass body.

PORSCHE DESIGN HUAWEI Mate RS features include:

 The world’s first dual fingerprint scanner, enabling unlocking with an in-screen fingerprint sensor

 A Leica triple camera setup with a 40 megapixel RGB sensor, 20 megapixel monochrome sensor and an 8 megapixel telephoto lens, along with a 5x hybrid zoom, and the world’s first AI image stabilisation on a smartphone camera

 Quick wireless charging, the first Huawei handset to offer the feature

 The AI processor automatically tailors the performance of the phone according to how it is used

 Internal storage of 256 GB

 Dual super linear system (SLS) speakers with DOLBY ATMOS

 Splash, water and dust resistant

Each PORSCHE DESIGN HUAWEI Mate RS also comes with a leather phone case accessory. A S$298 Huawei wireless quick charger will also be bundled with every purchase of the PORSCHE DESIGN HUAWEI Mate RS at the authorised shops in Singapore.
