“Our CEC provides a channel to demonstrate how Crestron strive to overcome workplace and home technology challenges with our automation and control solutions. Users experience firsthand controlling entire environments with a simple gesture, whether it be voice or touch, and also understand how simple integration is into systems like A/V, IT and HVAC*,” said Stuart Craig, CEO, Asia Pacific at Crestron Electronics.
The opening of the first CEC in Hong Kong is part of Crestron's ongoing commitment to support the Hong Kong government's initiative to promote smart living and working environments, as they work to transform Hong Kong into a smart city.
The new experience centre is divided into eight different experiential zones:
The Workplace zone showcases Crestron’s proprietary meeting solutions. Two such solutions are the AirMedia Presentation System which turns open spaces into a productive meeting space while the Crestron Mercury conference system is a tabletop solution that supports any videoconferencing service.
The Hospitality zone illustrates how intuitive control solutions can create a differentiated experience for guests.
The Residential area features Crestron Pyng OS2, which supports the deployment of home automation through configurations chosen through a tablet or web application.
The Education space highlights Crestron AirBoard Whiteboard Capture System, a content capture system that supports the transmission of whiteboard content to a room display or to a personal device.
