First Deep Tech Summit on 18 September in Singapore

SGInnovate will be presenting the inaugural Deep Tech Summit on 18 September 2018 at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre.

Deep tech refers to technology-intensive solutions that are based on advanced scientific research, have high barriers of entry and are essentially difficult to replicate. Examples of deep tech would be using artificial intelligence (AI) or robotics to address issues in areas such as healthcare or transportation.

As the region’s first dedicated deep tech event, the full-day conference will bring together leading deep tech entrepreneurs, investors, government officials, corporate innovators, academics and researchers from major innovation hubs around the world.

Being held as part of the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH), #DeepTechSummit will be covering themes such as artificial intelligence (AI) across industries; Blockchain beyond fintech; the future of work and talent development; as well as venture building and deep tech investments.
