As Chief Officer, Al-Mahmoud managed six SMB entities: Wataniya Palestine, Bravo (Saudi Arabia), Wataniya Maldives, wi-tribe Jordan, wi-tribe Pakistan and wi-tribe Philippines. Ooredoo did not elaborate on whether Marafih will also do the same.

The Chairman and Founder of Sigma Sembada Group, a major player and turnkey contractor in transportation and logistics, he is currently a Commissioner of Bank BNP Paribas Indonesia and a Member of the Board of Governors of US-based East West Center.
He was previously Vice Chairman of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) Asia Pacific (2007 to 2018), Commissioner of Garuda Indonesia (2013 to 2015), Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN Indonesia) (1994 to 2015), and Vice Chairman of the Indonesia Employers Association (APINDO (2017 to 2015).
