Siemens’ MindSphere on Alibaba Cloud ready for Chinese IIoT

Siemens MindSphere is now available on Alibaba Cloud to foster the industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) in China. The development delivers on the promise made in last year’s memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by Siemens and Alibaba Cloud.

MindSphere is Siemens' cloud-based, open IoT operating system that delivers device and enterprise connectivity options, applications, analytics, and innovation with digital twin solutions.

“Companies around the world have been able to take advantage of industry-leading IoT capabilities from MindSphere on Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure,“ said Tony Hemmelgarn, President and CEO at Siemens Digital Industries Software.

“With MindSphere on Alibaba Cloud, companies now have options in Mainland China.”
