Acronis launches security services in APJ

Acronis, a global cyberprotection provider, is democratising enterprise-grade cybersecurity with a single-vendor framework of services that test and strengthen businesses’ cyberdefences. The availability of these services comes at a critical time as organisations across the APJ region wrestle with securing employees who now work remotely.

The company has launched Acronis Security Services in the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), providing easy access to security services that are traditionally too complex and costly for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to consider. The suite of services delivered by top cybersecurity experts.

The recent Acronis Cyber Readiness Report, which interviewed 3,400 IT managers and remote workers around the world, found that while 47% of all remote workers did not receive adequate guidance from their IT teams when switching to remote work – leaving them ill-prepared and vulnerable to attacks. Japanese employees reported the lowest amount of support.

“Cyberthreats continue to evolve, which means all companies need to be proactive in their cybersecurity planning and training,” said Serguei “SB” Beloussov, Acronis’ founder and CEO.

“Unfortunately, the assessments, best practices and training have historically been too costly and complex for anyone other than large enterprises to implement. By launching Acronis Security Services in the APJ market, we’re making enterprise-grade solutions more accessible so every organisation can have the easy, efficient and secure cyber protection that’s needed today.”

With Acronis Security Services, organisations can harden their cyberprotection posture with a custom combination of security risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, incident response services, and awareness training.

The services, available in English, reinforces Acronis’ ability to deliver complete cyberprotection by addressing the Five Vectors of Cyber Protection: ensuring the safety, accessibility, privacy, authenticity, and security (SAPAS) of an organisation’s data, applications, and systems. Guided by this approach, Acronis helps businesses overcome the wide variety of challenges that modern IT teams face – including increasing complexity, security, and costs.

By integrating multiple premium cybersecurity services into a single-vendor framework, Acronis is also abstracting the complexity for service providers and resellers to sell solutions that help their clients bolster their defenses, meet compliance requirements for data security, and ensure they are #CyberFit.

Acronis Security Services enables service providers to enhance their portfolio with a range of world-class solutions through a single contract with a trusted vendor, rather than contracting with multiple point solutions. The new offering can also streamline a managed service provider's (MSP’s) operations. By helping business clients train their employees to prevent breaches, for example, an MSP also reduces the number of tickets they must support – improving efficiency and profitability.

Service providers interested in adding these services to their portfolio should contact their Acronis representative.

Cyberprotection is also the focus of the upcoming Acronis Global Cyber Summit 2020, a free virtual event from 19-21 October 2020. The 2020 Summit will be the largest gathering of developers, vendors, resellers, service providers, and enterprise IT professionals looking to network, learn, and share knowledge in the combined vision for the future of cyberprotection.

Acronis solutions are trusted by more than 5.5 million home users and 500,000 companies, including 100% of the Fortune 1000, and top-tier professional sports teams. Acronis products are available through 50,000 partners and service providers in over 150 countries in more than 40 languages.
