Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat) and China Mobile International (CMI) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to leverage their respective strengths and capabilities in the fields of communications, data centres and infrastructure technology. The MOU establishes a collaboration framework for the delivery of innovative and competitive digital solutions.
The MOU was signed by M. Danny Buldansyah, Director and Chief Business Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and Ge Jianbao, Director & Executive VP, CFO of China Mobile International Limited. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Vikram Sinha, President Director and CEO of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and Gao Tongqing, Executive Vice President (EVP) of China Mobile Communications Group Co., at a ceremony in Jakarta.

Indosat through Indosat Singapore and CMI aim to enhance their competitive positioning and business growth by delivering world-class digital solutions that better serve the needs of customers in Indonesia and other global markets. Indosat and CMI have also agreed to jointly explore strategies to expand their businesses into new and existing markets, and to monetise the 5G market.
