"The launch of negotiations for a new ASEAN Digital Economy Framework Agreement (DEFA) in September marks a milestone for facilitating seamless and secure data flows across ASEAN member states. With negotiations set to conclude by 2025, the next two years will be a window of opportunity for ASEAN to realise its ambitions for digital integration and write its own rules for data governance," said Sujith Abraham, Senior VP and GM ASEAN for Salesforce.
