Milestone Systems

"For Milestone Systems, 2025 was a year of strategic acceleration," said Kiean Khoo, Asia Business Head, Milestone Systems.

"Our investments across XProtect, Arcules, and BriefCam further expanded Milestone’s hybrid and cloud video management offerings, while the open-platform approach continued to be a key competitive differentiator in a crowded market."

March: Project Hafnia, a curated, ethically-sourced video data library for AI training, is launched.

"The company strengthened its leadership through initiatives such as Project Hafnia—developed in collaboration with NVIDIA—to democratise access to high-quality, compliant video datasets that drive responsible AI innovation," Kiean Khoo, Asia Business Head, Milestone Systems shared.

April: brighter AI is acquired.

"The acquisition of brighter AI enhanced Milestone’s anonymisation capabilities, giving customers confidence to adopt video analytics aligned with global privacy standards," said Khoo.

Planradar

January: AI Assistant is gradually made generally available. It was promoted in Singapore in August.

"In 2025, PlanRadar introduced its AI Assistant, a support system for speeding up and simplifying daily workflows," said Dr Vitaly Berezka, Regional Head - Central Asia, MENA & APAC, PlanRadar.

"By embedding AI into everyday workflows, PlanRadar is making digital project management faster, smarter and more intuitive.

"The introduction of the AI Assistant significantly improved user productivity by accelerating information retrieval and reducing time spent on administrative tasks, supporting smoother collaboration across projects."

September: Launched Conditional Fields for forms.

"PlanRadar also expanded its platform capabilities in 2025 with Conditional Fields, giving teams greater control over how they capture and report data. This feature allows fields to appear dynamically based on user input, ensuring precision and adaptability for specialised requirements such as QA/QC processes or fire safety compliance.

"It reflects PlanRadar’s ongoing commitment to creating flexible, user-driven tools for the construction industry," said Dr Berezka.

"This really changes the way our users can work with tickets," commented Planradar's UI/UX lead Raffael Wagner in a LinkedIn post.

QA/QC refers to quality assurance and quality control.
