The IT security services sector in the UAE is expected to reach AED1.7 billion (US$473 million) in 2018, according to organisers of the second Gulf Information Security Expo and Conference (GISEC) who cited the findings of a Frost & Sullivan report revealed during the event.
The figures were revealed by WAM, the Emirates News Agency on July 2. "The government, along with organisations in the Emirates, particularly in the banking, finance and commercial sectors, will drive the spending in the physical security services segment and are also open to outsourcing managed security services providers (MSSPs) for provision for security," WAM further quoted Frost & Sullivan's report as saying.
