Bank of Commerce to use Newgen Software's ECM solution for document management

Newgen Software has signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with Bank of Commerce, one of Philippines' progressive banks, and Remax International, an IT solutions provider, to support more effective document management across all bank branches.

Keeping the customer-centricity in mind, Bank of Commerce's decision to implement an enterprise-wide document management system is highly progressive and proactive." 

The bank aims to achieve organisation-wide agility, faster turnaround times, more cost effectiveness and improved customer satisfaction through the Document Imaging Archival Retrieval System (DIARS) project implementation. Newgen will deploy its enterprise content management platform to manage end-to-end digital transformation. The solution will scan and digitise existing paper documents and store them as records in a content repository. It will also help in creation of new documents, perform indexing, updates, modifications and retrieval of documents, while maintaining data security through rights-based access to the records.
