Pramod Kumar, Business Head APAC - Newgen Software said, "With the introduction of newer mandates and growing customer expectations, the banking landscape in the Philippines is changing at a rapid pace. Banks are required to be service-oriented and technology-driven for ensuring timely delivery of services. Keeping the customer-centricity in mind, Bank of Commerce's decision to implement an enterprise-wide document management system is highly progressive and proactive."
The bank aims to achieve organisation-wide agility, faster turnaround times, more cost effectiveness and improved customer satisfaction through the Document Imaging Archival Retrieval System (DIARS) project implementation. Newgen will deploy its enterprise content management platform to manage end-to-end digital transformation. The solution will scan and digitise existing paper documents and store them as records in a content repository. It will also help in creation of new documents, perform indexing, updates, modifications and retrieval of documents, while maintaining data security through rights-based access to the records.
