IEEE's ICC 2016 call for papers ends October 16, 2015

The IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC 2016) will hold its next international event from May 23 to 27 2016 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. IEEE ICC 2016 is expected to host thousands of global communications experts attending more than 1,500 presentations at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

Dedicated to the research, advancements and implementations of the next wave of wired and wireline technologies, IEEE ICC 2016 will host technical presentations, panels, keynotes and forums exploring key industry topics ranging from 5G and the Internet of Things (IoT) to mobile cloud computing and green ICT. 

IEEE ICC 2016 will begin Monday, May 23, with the first of two full days of tutorials and workshops highlighting topics such as cooperative wireless system design, machine to machine (M2M) communications, next generation IoT, network coding practices, small cell and 5G networking and forensic computing. The next three days will be dedicated to sessions highlighting the latest research and business policies surrounding communications advancements worldwide.

The conference's programme will cover:

Ad-hoc and sensor networks
Communication and information system security
Communications quality of service (QoS), reliability and modelling
Cognitive radio and networks
Communications software, services & multimedia applications
Communication theory
Green communications systems and networks
Mobile and wireless networks
Next generation networking and Internet
Optical networks and systems
Signal processing for communications
Wireless communications

In 2016, topics like access systems & networks; cloud communications & networking; communications for the smart grid; Data Storage; E-health; the Internet of Things; satellite & space communications; and social networking will also be discussed.

The IEEE Communications Society promotes the advancement of science, technology and applications in communications and related disciplines. With almost 30,000 members and 200 chapters worldwide, the Society fosters the presentation and exchange of information among its members and the technical community.
