Global Cloud Xchange names Vineet Verma President of MEA

Global Cloud Xchange (GCX), a subsidiary of Reliance Communications that maintains a cloud ecosystem, has appointed Vineet Verma as President of Middle East & Africa (MEA). Verma will be responsible for leading the company's growth and corporate strategies across the MEA region.

Verma joined the Reliance Group in 1996 and held various leadership roles across the business in operations, product management and business strategy. Most recently, he served as Head of Strategy and Corporate Development of GCX, where he focused on identifying and evaluating organic and inorganic growth opportunities across the company, as well as leading key strategic initiatives and building long term partnerships in the MEA region.

"Vineet brings almost two decades of industry experience to this role and we are confident that we will continue to deliver exceptional value to our customers and achieve new milestones under his leadership."

Verma previously served as Head of Product and Managed Solutions of GCX, where he was responsible for driving product development and managing the global operations team. He was also instrumental in leading the transition of various functions in the integration of the former FLAG, Vanco and Yipes businesses into GCX.

Verma is an engineering graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee, India and has completed the Executive Management Program from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, India.
