In conjunction with this year’s SG50 Mass Tree Planting Program by the National Parks Board (NParks), Fuji Xerox Singapore has planted a total of 50 trees at Ang Mo Kio Town Garden West. All proceeds from the initiative will go to benefit the Garden City Fund, which supports NParks’ outreach and education programmes, as well as research and conservation efforts.
Pauline Chua, General Manager of Human Capital and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Fuji Xerox Singapore said at least 120 employees had gathered to give back to the community and help to provide a sustainable environment for future generations.
Fuji Xerox Singapore's sustainability agenda for the environment, which has evolved over the years, is central to its business operations and instilled into its day-to-day work practices among staff members. In recent years Fuji Xerox Singapore has been reaching out to the younger generation and general workforce through workshops and talks aimed at building environmental awareness and raising levels of corporate social responsibility. Some of these initiatives that the company has participated in include Earth Hour, World Environment Day, and World Car Free Day.
