BMC Software names Darric Hor its new ASEAN Regional Director

BMC Software, the global provider for software solutions for IT, announced today the appointment of industry veteran Darric Hor as the company’s new ASEAN Regional Director.

Hor is responsible for managing and growing BMC’s business portfolio across the Southeast Asian region, as well as leading the charge towards achieving regional strategic business objectives. He reports to Gavin Selkirk, President, Asia Pacific at BMC.

Hor brings with him almost two decades of experience in the technology industry and over ten years in senior management roles in Southeast Asia. Prior to joining BMC, Hor held several leadership positions including Regional Director, South East Asia at Check Point Software Technologies and Country Director, Indonesia and Philippines at Symantec.

“As we continue to grow our business in Asia Pacific, South East Asia is a diverse region with ample opportunities to expand our leadership,” said Selkirk. “Darric’s rich experience in this market and notable contributions in his previous appointments will enable BMC to build and strengthen our presence in this dynamic, strategic region.”

Hor has an MBA from the University of Adelaide.
